ABOUT

I am a Lead Product Designer living on the west coast. I have 10 years of experience across design and development. During that time I have led design research, ideation, and creation of digital experiences across a variety of industries. I have spent the last 5 years in health tech and early-stage startups. I’m drawn to mission-driven companies where thoughtful design can meaningfully improve people’s lives.

Before moving fully into design, I worked on the more technical side in web development and software implementations. Having a more technical background helped me bridge the gap to design. I spent several years operating as a hybrid designer/developer—building design systems, shipping React component libraries, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to turn ideas into scalable, production-ready experiences.

As I’ve grown into design leadership, my focus has shifted from execution to strategy and vision. I use systems thinking to guide teams toward clear roadmaps, durable design foundations, and long-term product growth. In healthcare specifically, my work centers on creating accessible, inclusive experiences—removing friction, reducing cognitive load, and helping ensure that high-quality care is easier to understand, navigate, and in reach for people who are often underserved or overlooked.

I attended college with the hopes of becoming a biochemist. I was fascinated by solving the problems of the human body with simply designed, yet powerful chemicals. These drugs could initiate processes and behaviors in the body that could ultimately improve the quality of life.

Ultimately, I did not deviate far from that world. As a product designer, I am still solving problems. I am still focused on disguising complex processes into simple experiences. And I am still driven by the desire to improve human life.
